WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Founded in 2017, Hoshi Events began as Hoshi AU, a leading cosmetics retailer and familiar face at conventions across Australia. What started as a passion for bringing communities together soon grew into something bigger.
In 2019, Hoshi AU hosted its first convention appearance as an event organiser, marking the beginning of a new chapter with its very first after-dark event. This was the spark that would eventually shape Hoshi Events into what it is today.
AFTER DARK AND BEYOND
Building on those early beginnings, Hoshi Events expanded its focus into after-dark entertainment, creating spaces where convention communities could come together after the show floor closed.
Over the years, Hoshi Events has had the privilege of running official after parties for some of Australia’s most recognised conventions, including SMASH!, Animaga, AVCon, Pixel Expo, and Tokyo Alley, alongside events for Oz Comic-Con and PAX.
From high-energy dance floors to unforgettable nights, Hoshi Event's goal has always been to extend the convention experience beyond the day and create memories that last well after the music stops.
BETTER TOGETHER
At the heart of Hoshi Events is a belief that the best experiences are built together.
Through event collaborations with Hard Era, Masif, and Respawn, Hoshi Events continued to connect different scenes, communities, and creative visions to bring unique experiences to life. Our collaborative merchandise with Jukuhara has allowed us to extend that creativity beyond the event space, while the Hoshi Anthem, created by Suae [ANBU] and Technikore, represents another milestone in our journey - a sound that captures the spirit and identity of Hoshi.
As we continue to grow, collaboration remains at the core of what we do: bringing people together through music, creativity, and a shared love for the communities we’re part of.
