What Happens if I am sick on the day?
In line with Western Australian Government health regulations, it is recommended that you stay home and do not attend if you are unwell.
Hoshi Con 2023 is held in the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
Public Transport:
The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is conveniently located close to the Elizabeth Quay Train Station as well as the St Georges Terrace Bus Stop.

There are a number of parking options located closely to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Can I take photos at HoshiCon 2023?
photography is not allowed for professional cameras and event photographers will need a media pass. There will be event photographers hired by Hoshi Events for After Dark photography. There are some areas where photos are not to be taken unless a media pass has been acquired, this includes the Stage, VIP areas and Staff only areas. If you are taking photos of videos outside the conventions pavilion at PCEC, you are subject to the respective authorities’ rules and regulations.
How do I get a media pass?
Head to our “get involved” page for details and applications. Please be aware that media passes require you or your team to have valid WWC (Working with Children) cards.

Can I still buy tickets if the event is sold out?
Unfortunately if tickets have sold out it means we have reached full capacity for the event, we encourage all attendees to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment. In the rare event that we open the event’s capacity, tickets availability will be announced on our website.

Can I take photos at Hoshi After Dark 2023?
Yes, you most definitely can! Please ensure that you ask for permission before taking photos of cosplayers. There are some areas where photos are not to be taken unless a media pass has been acquired, this includes the Stage, VIP areas and Staff only areas. If you are taking photos of videos inside or outside of the event venue, you are subject to the respective authorities’ rules and regulations.
